Today in reading we are working with our novels. We are starting to fill out our study question sheets, which means we are getting close to discussion groups. We love to talk about what we read. It gives us a chance to clarify parts in the book and summarize what we comprehended from the text.

New novels!

Today we began reading new novels! Students began reading either Yang the Third and her Impossible Family or The Girl with 500 Middle Names. Both of these books have a common theme about moving to a new school and fitting in!
