We all enjoy getting to ask questions and find out more about each student as they are the person of the week. It is great for building community.
We are finishing up Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes today. Next week teams will be working cooperatively on books dealing with our differences theme. Homework is to finish up the reading and recording and signing on the blue reading logs, along with any work necessary to finish the flipbooks due next Thursday (Jan. 28th).
In writing we will list our missed spelling words in our spelling notebooks, and complete our narratives that are due today.
In math we will take our homework tests.
We will also continue discussion of our differences unit.
We earned a rootbeer float party for bringing in the most canned food for the 4th grade before Christmas, so we will also enjoy that today.
