March 4th- Celebrating Differences Performance

Mark your calendars!  At 2:00 and 7:00 pm there will be performances to show off what we have learned in our celebrating differences unit.

Students worked hard this morning to prepare for their presentations on the disability they have been studying.  We are excited to see their presentations on Monday.  Homework in reading is to read and record on the blue sheets.  This time will count towards our Dr. Seusss reading goal.

In writing students will be finishing their prewrite and work on their rough drafts of their new narratives.

In math we will take homework tests.  Students should have mastered one digit by 2 and 3 digit multiplication.  We also should be well on our way of mastering two digit by two digit multiplication.

We will be finishing up our reading and discussion portion of our celebrating differences unit today. Monday we will be assigning parts for our program.  Students will be bringing home a script to start and memorize.  We have found the experience of memorizing and getting up in front of others to be an invaluable experience.  Thanks in advance for your help in their memorization and moral support that they can do it!

Brenda is our person of the week.  I can’t wait!  She brought a box of things from home to share and I’m anxious to see what is in it!

Have a wonderful weekend!
