Students need to start memorizing their parts. If you break it into parts it is easier! Good luck. Practicing a little bit each night will really help!
Students presented their information on their different disability in reading class. We learned about diabetes, celebral palsy, learning disabilities, visual impairment, and epilepsy. Students took notes and then took a quiz. Nice job! Homework is the usual reading and recording on your blue logs. These minutes will count towards our February Dr. Seuss reading challenge! The next book project will be given out mid February and not due until mid March. We are taking a short break!
In writing, students got their seven new spelling words, then worked on their new adventure narratives. They really are having fun with this prompt about their plane running out of gas and landing on an island. We can’t wait to read them! Spelling homework is tonight!
Math saw us continuing to practice the concepts of factors and multiples as well as two digit by two digit multiplication, using the algorithm and array methods. Homework will be the usual sheets and rows. The orange sheets are back! This week they are practicing the 9’s!
In social studies students reviewed their notes (test over this chapter on Thursday!). They added some new notes over fur traders today. Students really need to be reviewing their notes each night for a few minutes in order to be ready for Thursday’s test.
In science students worked to discover the difference between insulators and conductors.
